Revised Reports

2020 Revised Budget: The Conference Council on Finance and Administration has prepared a revised budget for 2020 (replacing pgs. 56 - 59 in the Book of Recommendations and Reports).

2020 Comprehensive Benefit Funding Plan Summary: The Conference Board of Pensions received their approved Comprehensive Benefits Funding Plan for 2020 from Wespath (replacing pgs. 34 - 37 in the Book of Recommendations and Reports).

Resolution for Discontinuing Local Churches: The Board of Trustees has updated recommendation #2 in their report (replacing pgs. 23 - 24 in the Book of Recommendations and Reports).

2019 Book of Recommendations and Reports (BOR)
Business items for the 2019 Annual Conference session are contained in the BOR. Inside the BOR you'll find a complete conference agenda, helpful annual conference information, detailed reports from conference ministries, resolutions, pension and benefits recommendations, conference budgets, and much more. One of the purposes of the BOR is to allow you to read the resolutions, recommendations, and reports before you come to conference. Delegation Interest Form
The South Georgia Conference will elect its delegation to the 2020 General and Jurisdictional Conferences at this year’s Annual Conference Session. We will elect four (4) clergy and four (4) lay delegates to General Conference. An additional four (4) clergy and four (4) lay delegates will be chosen to complete the Jurisdictional Conference delegation. Alternates will also be elected.

Special Offering: Moscow United Methodist Theological Seminary
Bishop Bryan has announced that our 2019 Annual Conference Special Offering will benefit the Moscow United Methodist Theological Seminary. Your offering will help provide the means for students to attend the seminary and will help the seminary continue to be instrumental in helping revive Methodism in Russia. Congregations are encouraged to send and present their offering during the opening worship service on June 2. Click here for additional information and promotional materials.
